Charlotte Cadden

Charlotte Cadden

I have been a supporter of LGB Alliance since its inception in 2019. As a serving Police Officer at the time, and a member of what had become the Police LGBT staff network, I saw that there was no longer any support for same-sex attracted officers & staff in Policing. I also saw how Stonewall had infiltrated Policing across the UK and provided disinformation about the rights of certain people.

I saw how damaging those policies were to the rights of women & girls reporting sexual assault crimes, how harmful the policies were for women in the workplace regarding changing facilities & how women would be subjected to unlawful opposite sex strip searching.

I believed that LGB Alliance’s interpretation of the Equality Act 2010 was accurate and this proved to be correct, after they successfully intervened in the FWS Supreme Ct case in April 2025.

As a serving officer, I set up Police SEEN UK with brave officers & staff from Northumbria Police.

Being invited onto the LGB Alliance Business Forum was a real honour. I am working with some incredibly talented people who understand what went wrong in public service and in the corporate world, and what needs to be done to protect the rights of LGB employees.
